THE PROBLEM - INTERIOR SLAB MOISTURE

"Floor finishes have been failing in increasing quantities and more numerously in construction projects every year. Part of this phenomenon is due to the speed we build, part due to the location of the project facility, part due to the mandatory change in sensitivity from adhesives and floor finish materials, and mandatory VOC limitations. All of these factors have contributed to moisture issues surrounding flooring systems. On Track Technologies has solved these moisture problems since 2001 as a full service Company and before that as a representative and subcontracting project manager and installation group for a Supplier since 1996.

All floor finishes are subject to a potential to fail due to this problem including terrazzo, tile, wood, ceramic, and carpet. Polymer floors also fail significantly since their ability to “breathe” is severally limited just as their protection of the concrete substrate is essential when spilled corrosives cannot get to the concrete below the surface. With few exclusions and exceptions, On Track Technologies has partnered with numerous floor moisture repair product manufacturers and has solved many serious projects – some with unsuccessfully installed competitive repair materials already failing themselves."
